For Internet Explorer 6 and above

On the Internet Explorer navigation bar, click on Tools > Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level.
Scroll to Scripting.
Set Active scripting to Enable or Prompt.

For Netscape 7.1 and above

On the menu bar, click Edit > Preferences.
In Preferences window, click Advanced.
Click Scripts & Plugins just below Advanced.
Make sure Navigator in Enable JavaScript for: is checked.

For Safari 1.3 and above on Macintosh

Under the Safari menu, click Preferences.
In Preferences window, click Security
Make sure Enable JavaScript is checked.

SAS^® Curriculum Pathways^® OPD

This course is designed for teachers interested in using SAS Curriculum Pathways to help students solve problems and learn through inquiry; activate multiple learning channels through interactivity; engage in multi-step learning processes to assess and shape individual progress; receive informative and timely feedback to enhance learning; and transfer knowledge and skills to new situations.

Course Description
This asynchronous, online course prepares teachers to integrate resources from SAS Curriculum Pathways into instruction. Assignments include working through resources as students, evaluating instruction, implementing lessons in the classroom, participating in cooperative learning activities and online discussions, and creating portfolio artifacts (capstone project).

Requirements
Participants must be teachers (grades 8-12) in the core disciplines (English, social studies, science, mathematics, and Spanish) at schools subscribing to SAS Curriculum Pathways. Participants should be comfortable using e-mail and working with a word-processing program (e.g., Microsoft Word). School teams are strongly encouraged to enroll. Prior participation at a face-to-face session conducted by a SAS trainer is not a prerequisite.
