Teach 3 Challenge, Master Teacher Program
Update We have just completed the second year of our Teach 3 Challenge, Master Teacher program for users of SAS® Curriculum Pathways®. Participating educators are committed to enhancing teaching and improving learning outcomes through the effective integration of technology into instruction. The program offers teachers opportunities to
Teach 3 participants make an investment in SAS Curriculum Pathways by integrating three unique resources into instruction (per quarter) and sharing resources with a minimum of three faculty members, on three separate occasions. Upon successful completion of these requirements for two consecutive years, participants are awarded Master Teacher status. We are proud to announce that five educators are now SAS Curriculum Pathways Master Teachers: Sharon Daniels Jo Anne Hudson Catherine McCluskey Gayle Scott Maguy Yancey If you haven't perused our Blog, be sure to check out the entries of our Master Teachers to see the innovative ways in which they've been integrating resources into instruction. Successful integration results when teachers are familiar with resources, have identified their instructional goals, are aware of specific student needs, and take the time to modify instruction and/or resources to address those goals and needs. Each of our Master Teachers is a valued member of the SAS Curriculum Pathways community of users and we are most appreciative of their continued advocacy on our behalf. Congratulations to our Master Teachers! Interested in Participating? Another cohort will begin the Teach 3 Challenge, Master Teacher Program in the fall of 2011. If you are a core-discipline teacher in grades 6-12 and want to be added to our interest list, please contact our Professional Development Coordinator. |
