Summer Release Features New Tools, InterActivities, and Audio Inquiries


The August release of SAS® Curriculum Pathways® features new tools, along with a wealth of new InterActivities and Audio Inquiries across all the disciplines. We're also offering professional development to help you integrate these materials into your instruction.

As you plan for the 2009-10 school year, be sure to verify that your computers are ready to access our latest enhancements. Beginning April 3, simply log in and click System Check.

New Tools
Interactive Atlas
Available from all social studies resources, this map tool enables teachers and students to
Access a world atlas
Generate maps with selected geographic properties
Draw on and label maps
Print or save generated maps

Spanish Language Builder
To enhance student proficiency, the Spanish Language Builder provides
Real-world situations that align with standards
Authentic reading and listening content so learners see and hear how Spanish is used
Assessment that lets students "negotiate" with the language via immediate feedback
A balance between form (grammar) and function (use)
Modules allow for practice and assessment of a grammatical element and listening and reading comprehension. Students save, print, and e-mail completed quizzes.

Writing Reviser Enhancements
In response to teacher requests, we have added materials on diagnosing and revising
Run-on sentences (i.e., fused sentences and comma splices)
