Follow these instructions to enable JavaScript:

For Internet Explorer 6 and above

On the Internet Explorer navigation bar, click on Tools > Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level.
Scroll to Scripting.
Set Active scripting to Enable or Prompt.

For Netscape 7.1 and above

On the menu bar, click Edit > Preferences.
In Preferences window, click Advanced.
Click Scripts & Plugins just below Advanced.
Make sure Navigator in Enable JavaScript for: is checked.

For Safari 1.3 and above on Macintosh

Under the Safari menu, click Preferences.
In Preferences window, click Security
Make sure Enable JavaScript is checked.

July Release Focuses on Fundamentals

The July 30 release of SAS^® Curriculum Pathways^® focuses on concepts and skills vital to success in core classes. All new materials are designed to engage students who sometimes struggle with these fundamentals.


	Schedule professional development to help integrate these materials into your instruction.

Besides adding new content, we're also shortening our name to SAS Curriculum Pathways (no more "inSchool"). As you plan for the 2008-2009 school year, be sure to

Then you'll be ready to take advantage of the following additions and refinements.

InterActivities
	In English, we're targeting reluctant and struggling readers. New InterActivities in Literary Genres are designed to help improve comprehension by making students active readers. We also have new InterActivities in Communication Skills. These materials include strategies for reading nonfiction.
	In social studies, we're focusing on the story of history as a way of helping students retain what they learn. Our new U.S. History InterActivities help students build a foundation of knowledge as they explore historical narratives and themes.
	In mathematics, we have new tools to help students of introductory algebra and geometry perform transformations on a coordinate plane.

New Resource: Audio Inquiries
	These 3- to 5-minute tutorials help students acquire essential background knowledge. Audio is supported by visual and textual information. Students finish by taking an online quiz, which they must complete with 100% accuracy.
	This release includes an Audio Inquiry for each topic in American Literature, Contemporary World History, Introductory Algebra, and Spanish Grammar in Practice.

	Quick Tours will explain the navigation and key features for InterActivities.
	Our Flags feature now enables you to make folders for organizing your favorite materials.
