SAS inSchool Wins National Award for Software Excellence CARY, NC (January, 2003) - For the third consecutive year, SAS inSchool's web-based software for grades 8-12 has received the Technology & Learning Software Award of Excellence. This year, 25 teacher-judges chose 27 winners from a field of 115 software and web-based products. Selection criteria included:
"Winning national recognition is always gratifying, but to receive this prestigious award for three consecutive years is really quite extraordinary," said Caroline McCullen, SAS inSchool Instructional Technologist. "We include teachers from across the country in our product development, and listening to their feedback is a critical part of our process. Since classroom teachers evaluate products and select the winners for the Technology & Learning competition, this award helps us confirm that we are meeting the needs of the classroom. For example, in response to teacher feedback, we recently migrated our products to the Web so our customers can now log in from home or school. This kind of access to award-winning curriculum is very powerful, and the T&L award affirms that teachers approve of our new direction." About SAS inSchool |
