CARY, NC (August 25, 2001) - SAS inSchool® instructional software has again earned an EDDIE award for High School Language Arts at the 6th Annual Education Software Review Awards. ComputED Learning Lab, San Diego's leading computer education resource, sponsors the event. The awards recognize innovative and content-rich programs. Selection is based on academic content, potential for broad classroom use, technical merit, approach, and quality of the management system. Winners are selected from titles submitted by software publishers from around the world. A complete list of winners is available at http://computedgazette.com. "We are very excited to receive the EDDIE for the second consecutive year," said Barbara Pendergrass, SAS inSchool Associate Director. "We include input from teachers throughout the software development process. Since classroom teachers are the reviewers for this award, we are particularly honored to be one of the recipients."
